It’s strawberry season in Kentucky and I couldn’t resist painting a few!
My process: I used frisket on the seeds before starting. Then painted the body of the strawberries in one step, going from yellowish to dark red. I painted the leaves and stems, removed the frisket and finished the seeds. Colors used in this painting: Vermilion, Alizarin Crimson, New Gamboge, Green Gold, Aureolin, and Thalo Blue.
