About

Judy Moore Mudd, a native to Louisville, KY, is a watercolor and mixed media artist.

She is a member of the Kentucky Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, and the Portrait Society of America.

Judy was born into a family of artists and raised in an atmosphere of creativity. She chose watercolors as her medium of choice, loving the translucency, blending and layering of colors only this medium can provide. Judy has enjoyed studying with American master artist and teacher Charles Reid along with Mel Stabin, Judi Betts, Pat Weaver, and Stephen Blackburn. She paints weekly with Louisville artist and teacher Tom Scott.

Currently Judy’s art is on display at the Kentucky Watercolor Society Gallery in Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center, Duncan’s in St. Matthews, the Trio Salon in Middletown, and the Middletown Branch of the Louisville Free Public Library.
